The annual Brownsmead calendar is an aspiration to celebrate the goodness of Brownsmead.
It is an attempt to capture the timelessness of our community in its natural splendor, or in other words, to take pictures of people, animals, and structures in a landscape setting.

The goal of this site is to cast that vision to others, and to you,
in hopes you will send us Brownsmead pictures, which if selected will become the next year’s Brownsmead calendar.
Think about creating a “post card” picture, where if you were a complete stranger to Brownsmead, you would want to buy that picture and hang it on the wall in you house, as if it were art.
We need high-resolution pictures: Digital cameras with 7.1 megapixels or greater in a “superfine” setting.
Please include a description of the picture, for example, “Bob Buford’s goose headed north on Aldrich Point road.”
Please email pictures in the highest possible resolution you can, a “tiff” file or a raw file would be best. “jpeg” files are compressed, and not as good. You can contact Dirk directly, and put your pictures on a CD for ground pick up.
